The new house ROCKS!! But I have to be honest, I feel like life is swinging a little out of balance w/ so much focus going to getting settled. However I am going to be resuming my nearly weekly temple trips in the evening. I think that may just kick the pendulum in the right direction. Now if I can just get Derek on board...

PS, I will post some pics of the new pad very soon!! I need some good sunlight to make the pictures pop.

Saying goodbye doesn't always have to be hard...We miss you Pueblos!!!

A Tender Goodbye.

Two friends saying goodbye. Mason and Adalyn have been good friends for most of their lives. As Kimberly Pueblo would like to say, "Mason would just stare at Adalyn." It is just too cute! Kimberly and I would joke that they are betrothed, which is certainly fitting as Mason is a tall boy and Adalyn is a tall girl, amognst other very important aspects of their lives. We miss you Mason and Kimberly! (Oh and Camille misses her little love Dallin too!)

Sister Love

I was preparing Camille's bottle (which she takes like a champ) and Adalyn informed me that she would like to give Camille her bottle. Camille being as indiscriminate as she is with her food and the method its given and in what form it is, I knew would not mind. Plus Camille has been in awe of big Sister since day one. Is this not one of every parent's dreams, that their children will love one another and want to serve one another? It is certainly one of mine! I am sure it is a matter of time when the girls are not always so loving towards one another and may fight and quarrel, but it dawned on me not too long ago that they need to be reminded about how much they love one another. Sisters are forever, Families are forever! (And this picture is forever as proof when they are 13 and 16 and need to be reminded again.)

Snow Trip!

Last year Derek, Adalyn and a few of our friends and their families went to the snow to sled. Since I was pregnant and I had to work I did not go, but this year I did! We had so much fun and with the beautiful weather and warm snow clothes I wanted to stay out all day. Adalyn had a lot of fun too, but my little miss is not a dare devil by nature so she needed to be coaxed at first. The car ride up the mountain also takes a lot out of her, but as you can see with the two middle pictures her smile is natural and beaming. Good thing Erin brought her camera, because I am looking forward to more sledding shots. Too bad she left before I ate it on the mountain. I managed to steer right into a huge divet and I went flying! Ah...good times.

Had to share this picture. What is it about babies and toe sucking that I find SO adorable? It is'nt enough that I love my baby to pieces, but when I see her doing this it pushes the cute meter off the charts.

I'm back and I brought reinforcements!

I know it has been forever since I have posted anything new to my Blog. Technical difficulties were plaguing me in the form of passwords not getting reset, etc. I will not bore you with those details. This first post after months contains a small collection of pictures taken by my very own Adalyn Giselle, 3 years old. The four pictures represent the members of our immediate family, as seen through her eyes. My favorite picture is the self portrait of the photographer herself. Next in line is a shot of Camille Soleil enjoying one of her most favorite things in life, Mum Mums. Following the Cami Camille is a picture of Derek, who is caring for one of Adalyn's baby dolls...she has a large brood of babies. And last is a candid shot of yours truly in the kitchen. As you will notice the pictures are grainy, some very blurry. Derek and I got Adalyn her very first working digital camera for Christmas, but it is a child-proof one with low pixels. However, I love the point of view the pictures offer and I hope you do too!
